FAQ

Common Catering Questions

For weddings and social events, you can book up to 1 year in advance. Menus and pricing may vary depending on your date, but we can hold your date for you. We also accept bookings up to 3 days prior, though menu options may be limited for short-notice events.

For drop-off deliveries outside Ucluelet, there is a $150 fee.

Our minimum is 10 guests (we can accommodate smaller groups, but billing is based on 10). Maximum guest count depends on the venue and type of event.

Absolutely! We are a “scratch kitchen”, which makes it easy for us to adapt dishes to meet dietary needs.

No deposit is required. We will ask for a credit card on file and process payment after your event. We also accept e-transfer.

We don’t provide rentals, but we work with a local rental company and can help you order everything you need.

As people who believe sharing a meal is one of the most meaningful experiences, we couldn’t have asked for a better caterer for our wedding than Heartwood Kitchen.

From start to finish, the food was outstanding – the cocktail-hour snacks, to the family-style dinner that made the evening feel warm and connected, right through to the delicious late-night eats (hello, poutine bar!).
